The band
The soulful vocals of songstress Ley Adewole and the cool grooves of pianist Richard Penrose, drummer Damian Rodd and bassist Yan Speake together make 'The Grace Notes'. Based in Cornwall and primarily working throughout the Cornish coastline, together they provide music that is simply inspiring and unforgettable.

A fusion of distinctive musical influences have enabled their creativity to express a myriad of musical moods which every listener can enjoy. They range from the power and inspiration of gospel; crossing over to the cool, smooth tones of grooving jazz, moving on up to the rhythmic vibrations of soul, Motown and disco.

They are highly accomplished professional musicians in the areas of live performance and studio recording sessions for top recording artists. They have worked in TV and radio and also taken part in UK and international tours.
